Sunday Love #5 : My top 5 Youtuber

Hey Beauty and life lovers!

Today is a special Sunday love, it is quite non-beauty or fashion related.
But... we will talk beauty anyway as it is my top 5 youtubers... and as you can tell, I probably watch a lot of beauty channel.

So let's start by...

Estée aka Essiebutton :

http://www.getthegloss.com/article/blogger-of-the-week-essie-button

You probably know her already, but she is my favorite one. Canadian, she moved to England to be with the one she loves.
She is funny and I can watch 5 videos in a row without getting enough. Yes, it's creepy.
I also enjoy a lot the vlog channel she feeds with Aslan. And please how can we not talk about Reggie? uh? this dog is so sweet!

I also enjoy reading her blog, even though I'm not a huger comment poster.

Just right after here comes:

Ingrid aka MissGlamorazzi:

Ingrid is sweet fresh and lives in LA, I really love watching her video as well as Estée's.
I first discover her through her blog, which isn't really up-to-date since 2010...
But she always has good advice when it comes to oily skin and DIY.

Oh! in third position we stay in LA....

Tati aka Glamlifeguru:

She is the shopping Coupon Queen, I really wish I was living in the States for the moment.
I love her "tip tuesday", "Madness Monday". She gives also great advice on how to eat healthy and review a tons of drugstore products.

In 4th position let's go to Texas:

Leighann aka Leighannsays:

https://www.facebook.com/leighannsays

Fun, crazy, sweet, what can I say more about Leighann except that you should discover her if you didn't already.

The last but not least let's come back to Europe, and more precisely England with:

Fleur aka Fleur DeForce:

First I must admit that I found her a bit too posh, but with time I just had to admit that I loved her video and that "English" style was a very delight moment in the day.
Now I cannot skip one her video and I really fell in love with her two doggies.

So well here are the main youtuber I'm watching.
There's a French/ Belgian youtuber as well, but they come just right after.
I'm thinking of Audrey Marshmaloo, ElsaMakeup, etc...

Sunday Love #4: Body scrub and loofa combo

Hey Beauty and life lovers!

Here is time to spread the love and share what you deeply like! So this time I will stay in the shower time and after talking about the Johnson's Baby oil to hydrate, here is my favorite scrub and my way to use it.

In the picture you can see it is a The Body Shop scrub and this will always be the case because they're my favorite. Especially this olive and the mango ones.
I love the scent, the texture and the feeling it leaves on the skin.

I usually use it with a loofa to optimize the effects, but first I apply it with my hands on the upper body part to have the product evenly on the skin. Then I take the loofa and massage gently the skin.
I repeat the process for the lower part and for my back I use a brush ( witch isn't on the picture as I need to get a new one.)

Talking about the loofa, I often use as well those from The Body Shop, it seems that they last longer, but it's just a my impression. I cannot go to TBS without getting one.

And you? what's your pampering shower ritual?

Sunday Love #2 : Nail Polish

Hey Beauty and life lovers!

It is the return of the Sunday love!
This time, I will talk about nail polishes and especially the Barry M Gelly nail effect. I know we cannot find them here in Belgium but I cannot skip them as Barry M is one of my favorite nail polish brand

I'm not into a specific color but at the moment, 2 of them are my go to colors.

Watermelon and Blood Orange

Even if they are really easy to apply and have a superb finish, I always apply a base ( Nourish me by Essie) and a top coat ( Good to go by Essie), to protect my nails and of course reinforce the nail polish longevity.
The color applies really evenly and one coat would be sufficient, but I can't help it, I always apply two.
I'm not a nail artist, my hands are even destroyed most of time because I'm stressed and it is the only way I found to release it. I know it's is a really bad habit and I try hard to quit it and painting my nails help me through this  step.
For £3.50 it is really affordable and next time I'm in London, I will probably get more of these.

Here are some swatches and a picture of my not pretty fingers .

And both colors on the paper.

If you tried them , leave me a comment below with your appreciation!

Sunday Love

Hey Beauty and life lovers!

I decided to include a recurrent item each week.
This will be called "Sunday Love" in which I'll be sharing with you my three fave products of the week.

This sunday I'll be talking about a brush cleanser, un face mask and a Hydrating cream.

Let's start with the skin care.

The mask:

It is the " Green clay Purifying face mask for oily skin" from Lovea.

I'm not a BIO lover, I quite don't care about that but I must say that this one is really efficient and gives a "glow" to the skin after you take it off.
I don't know how to explain this, but for a drugstore product it is quite impressive.
When you have it on your face, you just have the impression it goes really deep, and drag all the "dirt" out of your pores.
Ok it is supposed to be the goal, but it is the first time I actually believe it does the job.

You leave it for 10 to 15 min on and then you rince it with warm water.
It leaves your skin soft, plump and glowing. A mask to try if you have oily skin!

The Hydrating Cream:

It is the "Hydrance optimale light hydrating cream for norm to oily skin" from Avène.

As it is the winter and as the weather here is always uncertain, I always change the hydrating face cream to something a bit thinker than the clinic one I usually use.
I have sensitive skin ( I know it's cumulative...) in winter. Even though I have an oily skin i try to apply thicker hydrating products to prevent dry patch to appear.
So I turn myself naturally to Avène who is well known for the taking care of the sensitive skin.

After I cleaned my face and toned it, I can really feel the difference, it calms it down and I can feel the hydratation. My skin drinks it.

Let's talk know about the brush cleanser:

It is the Barbara Hofmann Brush cleanser.
You can find it at "Di", it cost about 3 euros and does the same job as the Make up forever or MAC brush cleanser, but in the affordable range!

It does the job, and clean your brushes very well and get rid of all the germs as one of is action is the "disinfection".

So this is it for this week!
I hope you enjoyed it.
Just let me know :)
