Ciaté at Paris XL

I was going through the shelves of the Paris XL Corners in the Rakstore store near I live and than : BOOM! A Ciaté display!

Two days before I was about to order some on Sephora.fr but restrained myself.

I must admit that I splurged a lot that day, but I won't spoil.

So here are the two I went for.

It was a bit of a problem for me to choose... oh yes a big problem.
8,79 euros each, not that expensive.
Really gorgeous and I think they might replace Essie nail polishes in my favorite list.

Have you tried them?

Here comes the poo...

Hey my loves!

I wanna tell you a secret. I love Essie Nail polishes. I've never be disappointed by them, they last quite long and they have a kind of interesting large range of colors.

I've heard they can become a bit thick with time but my secret to avoid that is to keep them away from the light.
They are "locked" in a box" ( too small now).

Last month I bought the " Bouncer, it's me" it is a really gorgeous Navy blue, I thought it would be easy to put on BUT hell it was not!

First coat after my base was so liquidy and so translucid that it was ridiculous, let it dry a bit, put another coat and it wasn't that good, let it dry again and put a third coat with which I was finally happy with. I applied my good go top coat and literally two hours later : Chipped... yes it was chipped... which never happens so fast with Essie nail polish and especially when I use the Essie base and the top coat.

I'm a bit sad because I wanted to love the color so bad...
I don't know if one of you got this problem with this nail polish, or if you had it with another one.

Just let me know in the comments!

Have a wonderful day m loves!

Monday Haul #3 : Damage Part 2

Hey Beauty and life Lovers!

Last week I developed my second " The Body Shop" Haul and already told you that I made some damages at the Drug store.
I'm usually not a huge shopaholic, but these past weeks have been hectic and I really can't explain why.
I have phases, maybe it's the urge to move to another place, maybe it's a way to keep me away from the food, maybe it's just a way to help me to take care of myself, I don't know.

Anyway, I decided to divide this into 2 part so, the 3rd part of this Haul will be online next week, because I think a few item is sufficient per post.

Well let's get started!

As I said I plan to move this year from a place to another and so I wanted to find cute things to put in my bathroom ( or if I have the chance to find a place big enough , my beauty room).
So at "Di" I found those cute little boxes:

The taller one is to place you round cotton pads and the smaller one the cotton swabs.
These are part of a collection of 3 boxes and I think I'm gonna try to find the third one which will be perfect for my square ones.
Cute and girly, but I don't know if this purchase was totally necessary... Let's say it was an impulse one and that is better dans the plastic case and bags they are coming in.

Now let's talk Beauty products!

On the pic you have:

A L'Oréal Color Riche eyepencil in Taupe
A Elnett Hair spray
The Rimmel stay matte ( 100-Ivory) : a review is coming very soon.
Two Nail polish remover for when I have to go on week end.
And a Bilstex Lip Balm, to complete my addiction.

I intend to do a review on the nail polish remover and the foundation.soon so stay tuned!
All I can say for the moment is that I'm quite impressed...
But for which products? You'll know it soon!

See you on Wednesday my loves!

Sunday Love #2 : Nail Polish

Hey Beauty and life lovers!

It is the return of the Sunday love!
This time, I will talk about nail polishes and especially the Barry M Gelly nail effect. I know we cannot find them here in Belgium but I cannot skip them as Barry M is one of my favorite nail polish brand

I'm not into a specific color but at the moment, 2 of them are my go to colors.

Watermelon and Blood Orange

Even if they are really easy to apply and have a superb finish, I always apply a base ( Nourish me by Essie) and a top coat ( Good to go by Essie), to protect my nails and of course reinforce the nail polish longevity.
The color applies really evenly and one coat would be sufficient, but I can't help it, I always apply two.
I'm not a nail artist, my hands are even destroyed most of time because I'm stressed and it is the only way I found to release it. I know it's is a really bad habit and I try hard to quit it and painting my nails help me through this  step.
For £3.50 it is really affordable and next time I'm in London, I will probably get more of these.

Here are some swatches and a picture of my not pretty fingers .

And both colors on the paper.

If you tried them , leave me a comment below with your appreciation!
